Can I get this?
It is interesting to walk through the store with my kids. The older one will wander through and constantly ask, "Can I get this?" "How about this?" Despite all the no's, he continues to ask and sometimes even does the kid pout or kid angry look.
It doesn't matter what the item is, they want it. One time he pointed out a drink. I took a look and told him that it's got no sugar in it so he started scanning for something else to ask about.
Of course, then he complains about how long it took to go shopping to which I tell him, "If I didn't have to spend so much time telling you that you couldn't get stuff, we could have been out faster."
