Nom nom nom nom nom

Baltimore sights had dollar days at the major tourist traps. $1 Aquarium, $1 Science Center, etc. I figured we could go on the cheap. Heck, gas is cheap. So we made our way down there after getting the kids flu shots. (No crying at all.)

Oy, parking $22. The line to get into the aquarium at opening was back around the aquarium. You could buy a ticket at 10am for 4:30pm if you waited in line long enough to get a ticket. Um, hell no.

Fortunately, the "trade center" building offered $1 tickets to the "top of the world" and had a nice view of the city and that's how we got to see how long the line to the aquarium was. We went to the science museum next, and that also had a long line, but it wasn't anywhere near as long as the aquarium line.

The kids ate breakfast around 8am. By the time we were in the science center line (10:30am), the kids were hungry. Had food in the cafeteria in the science center around 11:30am. Went through the science center and then they were hungry again. Had lunch at 2pm. Drove down to a party. Kids at cupcakes - probably six to ten each at around 4pm. Then pizza. Then more cupcakes and more pizza. In all, each kid probably consumed at least 8000 calories.
